Anissa Davis, MD, MPH

Dr. Davis was born in Seattle, Washington, but considers Long Beach her home, having lived there most of her life. She received a BA in history at UCLA, then graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1998. 

She completed a family medicine residency at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and a public fellowship from the California Department of Public Health. She worked in primary care in Los Alamitos for 11 years and has been the Health Officer for the City of Long Beach since 2016. 

She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, walking her dog, and playing with her cats.
